The past 6 months have been a rough one, this past week my body finally hit a brick wall with all it has had to endure. I finally gave in and went back to the Dr. and told her that she needed to figure things out sooner or get me into my appts sooner only to get the same song and dance of "lets try a new Rx" ERRRRR and let's just buy you a little bit more time. So needless to say I have been a little bit disheartened this week between that and some other things going on in my life. So I have not been the greatest friend, mom, daughter, sister, etc. But, I have to brag about how amazing my kids are my birthday was on Saturday and I have been exhausted. Probably the most fatigued I have ever experienced in my life! My mom and I have joked that I know that I am getting really really old when for the first time my mom offers to take me shopping for my birthday or ask me what I want for my birthday and the only thing I want is a nap! Ha Ha do I sound like a worn out 85 year old lady or what? Anyways I was not thrilled about my birthday at all I honestly could have cared less. But, my sweet little kids could not wait for me to celebrate my birthday so the minute I woke up I walked up the stairs and they were both standing on the stairs and started singing Happy Birthday to me and there holding cards and a present a pair of Crocs to walk the dog with since I have ruined my slippers going out in the wet grass in the middle of the night (thanks Mom!) I'm so proud of Mason and Laken I have not been at my all time best lately and they have been so good and understanding. Mason is always so good about helping out any way he can and Laken is just hilarious last night she put on a dramatic singing performance for us that left me in tears I was laughing so hard she gets funnier every day. I am so blessed to have such amazing kids. One thing I did do this weekend besides be a lump a log and laugh at my kids who were more thrilled about my birthday than I was. Was the kids and went to Gardner Village with my friend Annie and her boyfriend Brian they wanted me to take some pictures of them so we met and went to lunch at Archibald's Yummy, and then took pictures. I wish I was as talented at taking pictures as my friend Angela is but, hey we can't all be that talented. We had lots of fun with Annie and Brian they are always laughing which is fun to be around and of course as usual Laken immediately budded up to Brian which was hilarious. Here are some of their pictures I must say I loved the background of the old cabin wall and plants you would never know that they were standing below all that on a sidewalk and I was standing up on a rickety old fence post ha ha! Too bad I was sick and really dizzy I wish I was feeling better when we took all of these so I could have tried to get a few more better shots, but oh well better luck next time :) I took some of my kids also I figured I would let the kids give them to their dad for father's day. I know don't say it after the hell that man has put me through that is way too nice of a gesture but, oh well I get the cute pictures of my funny kids too! I must say the one of Laken giggling with Mason hugging her defiantly sums up my kids in a nut shell so it is one of my new favorites!

Love, Love, Love the pictures! Your kids are the sweetest kids in the world (besides my own of course :) I would love a copy of one so I can frame it. Hope your feeling better. Hopefully, my doc will help you out better than your current one. Have a great weekend!
Thanks again for your willingness to put up with us on your birthday! We both had a great time with you and your kids! :)
