Laken's 4th B-day was on Wed. and I felt like a bad mom once again because I was sick and probably did not give her the special day she deserved but, lucky for me she was happy just knowing it was her birthday. Thank goodness even though she thinks she is a princess and rules the house she does not ask for anything. She has not asked for a single gift and never really does. So now we are preparing for her big "Cinderella" Party. My great friends Angela and Jenn have talked about giving Laken a Cinderella party for months and Laken has told everyone about it forever she is so excited. My friend Angela amazes me with her incredible talent at sewing. I'm sure she is home today knee deep in fabric. Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother will be coming to the party. Angela asked if I could come help at least cut the pattern out for the Fairy Godmother dress last night so we went over to do that and all I can say is holy crap after staying up until midnight cutting out stupid fabric I now know why I have left the sewing and crap to my Mom and Grandma, yuck!!! The best part was Laken got to try on the little Cinderella dress that Angela's daughter is letting her borrow, she looked so dang cute in it and you could tell truly felt like a little princess. And Angela's daughter was so sweet as soon as we walked in the house she came running and got Laken so excited about her party and said "I am going to let you wear the most beautiful Cinderella dress." Laken's eye's lit up and she said "Oh thank you so much Jaylynn." It was way too cute to watch these little girls get so excited over sharing dresses together. I will be posting lots of pictures from the party hopefully if I am still standing and all these little princesses and pirates that are coming to have not killed me off.
