Kindergarten Check-Up! :(

I can not believe my baby is old enough to be starting Kindergarten soon!!! This week we had to go to the Doctor for her check-up first I have to say Laken cracks me up! I got her dressed and ready to go and decided to put a headband in her hair and she looks in the mirror and say's "I look just like a Barbie" Wow the self-esteem this child has ha ha! So of course that meant she had to carry a purse the whole bit to go along with "looking like a Barbie" So we went to the Dr. office and the Nurse Marci who has been both of my kids nurse since the day they were born comes out and right off the bat say's how she can not believe Laken is already this old and that she still remembers when Mason was only 2 weeks old. I'm thinking in my head stop I already had my cry over my baby is growing up way too fast!!!!

Being Weighed

Finding out that she is over 41 inches isn't that big enough for the big rollercoasters? :)

Then while she was getting her Bloodpressure done they made her sit at the nurses station to do it. Everyone kept commenting on her pretty toenails or how cute she was and she looks up at me and infront of everyone say's "Mom why does everyone keep saying I am so cute?" then she answers her owns question and say's "Oh I bet it is because I look like a Barbie!" All the nurses just started to giggle. That is my overly confident child, Ha Ha! Laken's checkup went ok except for due to some concerns they did a hearing test and she failed it and got the same results twice so of course now it is on to more Doctors, next stop is an Audiologist, I have a feeling somehow between myself and my kids we will probably experience seeing every type of specialist there is? So stay tuned and hopefully by the end of the month we will know more of what we will have to do about her hearing loss? In the meantime we will just pretend we are all Barbie's that live in a perfect Barbie world :)
